If you ever wanted to hear Abby attempt a Gollum voice, this is the episode for you!!! This week, she reveals that there is actually one fat trope she loves (the soft, sensitive, kind fat boy) and notes that most of them are named Sam. Then she is joined by singer/songwriter Elle Baez (she/her) and healing artist Marlee Dater (she/they), founders of Curvy Artists Collective, an online community for curvy creatives! They chat about Elle's experiences with fatphobia and racism in the music industry, Marlee's encounters with weight stigma in spiritual communities, and why both of them decided to transition away from theatre. They also discuss fat camp, Hamilton, being the funny fat friend onstage and in real life, the dark side of losing weight, and the importance of community in fighting fatphobia.
